FAQ
We do not place your personal information on anything you send in the mail. Though, if you like, you can always let them know in your personal message!
All customers will receive a shipping confirmation email. All pranks excluding the glitter bomb letter/cards will receive a USPS tracking number with their shipping confirmation email so that they can track its progress (though you CAN upgrade to expedited shipping to get tracking on letters/cards). You can also view the tracking number in your email if you selected tracked shipping at checkout.
All of our envelope pranks are shipped with stamps unless you purchase the tracked shipping at checkout. All of our shipping is done through Canada Post and usually arrives anywhere between 7-14 business days after shipping. Please keep in mind that processing times are different than time in transit and we cannot guarantee any shipment times.
Please send us a email ASAP so we can change the address before we ship it out. If we happen to ship it out already then we cannot refund you.
You bet! We allow for personal messages to be attached to several of our pranks. That being said, notes containing hate, harassment, threats, accusations, or foul language are not tolerated.
If your tracking number shows that it has shipped, but the information has not updated, here is what you can do:
1. If the tracking shows “Label Created, not yet in system” and it has been more than 7 days, it likely means the USPS has lost your package at some point and has not scanned it into the system. When labels are created, it means the package has left our warehouse on a USPS truck. You can submit a replacement request by contacting us below or sending an email to info@smellmythongs.com with “Replacement” as the subject.
2. If the tracking information shows “In transit, arriving late” it means they are behind schedule for some reason or there is a delay. Certain events like busy holidays, labor issues, wildfires, coronavirus and other issues can cause a package to arrive later than expected. You should contact the USPS for further information:

If your package was marked delivered, but it doesn’t seem to have been delivered, you can contact your local USPS facility or see the USPS help topic on what to do here. Once the item leaves our hands, we no longer have control of the package and have fulfilled our end of the purchase agreement. You will have to go through the USPS to resolve the matter. The USPS master number is at the bottom, but typically it is better to call the local office in the zip code it was delivered to for expedited help.
